I am a professor of communications at the University of Calgary, located in Canada. With a PhD and 17+ years as a scholar, I have advanced skills in literature review and critical analysis of journal articles across the disciplines. I have conducted health research in the medical literature on autoimmune diseases in general (PTPN22 in particular), thyroid, and ankylosing spondylitis. Most of my work on SNPedia was done in 2017.
