Talk:Rs663048

From SNPedia

The alleles are wrongly oriented, as in GG is more prone to lung cancer. Please re-read the cited study and also consult allele frequencies (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/projects/SNP/snp_ref.cgi?rs=rs663048)

We have checked, but what we see agrees with the existing text. From the paper: "We observed a 3.8-fold increased risk of lung cancer in individuals who carried the rs663048 null genotype T/T compared with those who carried the rs663048 more common (wild-type) genotype G/G (95% CI, 1.40–10.42) after adjusting for age, sex, and smoking".
