According to this PubMed article, the double G allele of this SNP corresponds to a significantly higher waist-hip ratio in women with PCOS. PCOS women with the GG genotype also had significantly higher QChol/HDL and LDL levels. Despite this, the G allele correlates with a lower risk of PCOS.
