Given the relative rarity of musical talent and the fact that the C allele is common, arguably, it is the minor allele T that influences musical ability. However, someone should look at the study linked on the main page for this SNP and double-check, especially as from my (brief) reading of it, it doesn't seem to be stated either way. --Lilstar (talk) 06:08, 26 October 2015 (UTC)

Yes, it is the minor (T) allele that is reported (in Sup. data Table 9) to be associated with better musical ability. Greg (talk) 14:59, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
