Are the magnitude scores assigned (by someone) or calculated with some other input parameters? Also, please let me know how is Age and Population type incorporated in this.
- They are recorded by a person. Someone like you reading this page. Anyone is encouraged to be bold and change or make new assignments. Age, Population, and everything else should inform the score you propose. If and when other disagree they should adjust appropriately. We trust that as a community we can reach some sort of good faith consensus, and accept that these scores are necessarily subjective and imperfect.
